| Julia established The Mewes Veterinary Clinic in 1996 having worked in Mid Sussex for 7 years since qualifying. She recognised that pet owners needed a new clinic where time was allocated to address all their needs and concerns. Hence, unlike some other clinics we never double book slots and our 15 minute appointments were born.
Julia also wanted to provide a personal service with continuity of care which became known as our 'One-Pet-One-Vet' policy. She has developed her team into its current top class status, including achieving Training Practice and RCVS (Royal College of Veternary Surgeons) Practice Standards Tier 2 status.
This means we have been rigorously inspected and approved by the RCVS as an Accredited General Practice.
We agree to be subject to spot checks and certify annually that we are continuing to meet the necessary standards.
We are proud to be awarded with this accreditation.
